Medicare and Federal Health Insurance Programs
For many years Bills have been introduced at the federal level to include Acupuncture and related medical services in the medicare and federal health insurance programs. It is hoped that this will become part of future health care reform. At this tim, coverage under these programs is unavailable.
Veterans can get coverage for acupuncture through the VA medical system. Check with the your local VA hospital for information on how to get coverage for these medical services.
